The Police in Eccleshall
used to be stationed at the police station in the High Street until it
was sold and became a guest house called appropriately 'Peel House'.
Geoff Banwell was awarded
the Community Policeman of the year for Staffordshire in 1997.
When he retired from the
force his story was printed in the Sentinel.
